Cruise Control & ABS Dongle for Yamaha Tenere 700 – Seamless Integration with OEM Controls

Device under development. We took a bit more time to make even more prototype iterations and added some extra features (return to previously used speed; allow to use up/down buttons for controlling the music etc. during riding with CC) and more advanced electronic protections on all signal ways. This took some more time but we believe it worth. New schedule is end of December to first production pieces. Pictures above are showing some from the development. :)

This innovative dongle adds Cruise Control functionality and allows for quick control of ABS and Traction Control via the OEM ABS button on the Yamaha Tenere 700 dashboard. It also features memory for ABS and Traction Control settings, ensuring a smooth and efficient riding experience. All functions are seamlessly integrated into the OEM control switches without adding any extra bulk to the handlebars and without cutting any wires. Just clicked-on between three connectors on the bike, fix it on included holder and enjoy full control and comfort on every ride!

How does it work

The Dongle exact functionality is still under development and can be changed a bit.

Cruise Control functionality

• If you hold the "MODE" button for a while, the actual speed is fixed.
• You can increase the speed by using throttle. After releasing the throttle, the bike will slow down to speed previously fixed.
• Fixed speed can be increased/decreased by holding the up/down arrow on the left handlebar controller. During the Cruise Control operation the click on up/down buttons are working normally and MODE key is reserved to Cruise Control.
• The Cruise control is turned off by pressing MODE button again, by the break (front or rear) or by the clutch lever (the revs shortly goes up, then the CC unit detect it and disable the Cruise control).
• The cruise control can return you to previously used speed by 1sec holding of up arrow on left handlebar. It activates CC to last used speed.

Maximum safety is our priority. So this device is designed the same way as on bikes where the Cruise Control is factory-installed. Device contains advanced hardware and software techniques for checking consistency and credibility of all signals. Moreover all safety critical signals are doubled and proper software run is monitored by external components designed for this purpose. Device contains full set of very robust overvoltage/undervoltage protections on its all power and signal ways. Moisture sensitivity protection and mechanical strength is achieved by encapsulating the electronics by epoxy resin especially designed for this purpose into the injection molded PA11 GF30 (Nylon + 30% Fiberglass) case.

ABS button behavior + ABS and Traction Control memory for easier off-roading

This device completely eliminates the time-consuming setting of ABS when driving in off-road.

• You can ON/OFF the rear ABS + Traction Control by short click on stock ABS button.
• You can ON/OFF whole ABS system + Traction Control by long hold of stock ABS button.
• If you click/hold it during riding, the dongle will keep that request and execute it immediately after stopping the bike.
• This settings will kept in memory even after switching the ignition off.

Installation

Plug-And-Play connection with no irreversible changes. Just click-on between three connectors on the bike and attach on included holder fitting directly on the Tenere.

Compatibility

Works on latest Tenere 700 2025 models (BAG9 model code) with electronic throttle (ride by wire).
